This elegant four bedroom villa compound enjoys a setting at the western end of world-famous St. Jean Beach. The crystal clear waters and powdery white sands are just outside the gate of this beachfront property. Completely refurbished and redecorated with tasteful teak and mahogany, Le Moulin has been fully air-conditioned and upgraded to match its beautiful setting. The compound's central gathering place is a very spacious living room with an adjacent fully-equipped kitchen. Four separate bungalows provide inviting privacy for guests. Le Moulin (The Mill) also includes a bit of history. The only mill on the island dating back to the 19th century has been transformed into a unique bedroom. Popular restaurants, fascinating boutiques and numerous watersports activities are all available nearby.
BEDROOMS: Two of the bedrooms are set in private bungalows beside the main building. One has a king bed and the other has a full size bed. The third bedroom is within the historical mill building right on the beach with a full bed. The fourth bedroom is actually a queen bed suite (with a cozy living room and kitchenette) on the western end of the compound close to the road. All four bedrooms include air-conditioning, CD players and private baths.
LIVING/DINING: The generous, air-conditioned living area faces the terrace and the sea with many doors available to take advantage of the cooling tradewinds. Its elegant furnishings feature exotic woods and interesting antiques. Dining is under a covered terrace with a large teak table and eight chairs.
KITCHEN: The air-conditioned kitchen is fully-equipped and includes place settings for up to 10 persons.
LOCATION NOTE: Since the villa compound is near the tiny airport's runway, it is certainly not the quietest location on St. Barth. However, if you are among those who love to watch the little planes come and go (they only fly during daylight hours) and want to stay right on one of the Caribbean's prettiest beaches, Villa Le Moulin may be the perfect choice for you.
ACCESS/PARKING: 4 WD vehicle not required but recommended for the hilly terrain of St. Barth. Parking for up to 4 cars within the compound.
